The project delivers façade remediation works at the Mercure Hotel within the Liverpool Catholic Club complex, a fully operational facility comprising 104 rooms alongside a recently completed 12-storey, 200-suite hotel. Following a cladding risk assessment, non-compliant Symonite ACP and PIR Formatherm insulation were identified across the façade.
The scope included the removal of these materials and replacement with approved, compliant alternatives, including approximately 4,200 m² of solid aluminium cladding.
Works were undertaken in accordance with a Council Fire Order and in compliance with the Building Code of Australia.
Delivery required careful staging and coordination to maintain continuous operation of the hotel and adjoining club facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption throughout construction.
