Leigh Place

In Riverwood, works for Leigh Place Aged Care involved the design and construction of a new 34-bed residential aged care facility comprising part three- and part four-storey buildings at the existing campus. Delivered under D&C, the project included demolition, remediation, excavation and major civil works to prepare the site for construction.

The facility incorporates a basement car park accommodating 30 vehicles, a dedicated bus bay, ambulance access, loading facilities and back-of-house operational areas.

Resident accommodation is provided across the ground, first and second floors, supported by contemporary lounge, dining, kitchen and staff facilities on each level.

Extensive structural, façade and services works were undertaken, including lift installations, balconies, landscaping and utility infrastructure upgrades.

Outdoor communal terraces, private balconies and landscaped connections integrate the new development with the existing campus, creating a modern environment focused on resident comfort, accessibility and wellbeing.
