The Perich Centre for Robotics & Health Technology

Located in Liverpool's Health and Academic Precinct, The Perich Centre is the Ingham Institute's future-focused facility aimed at advancing healthcare innovation. RCCI managed the demolition and refurbishment of approximately 1,300m² of floor space, designed to support medical AI, surgical robotics, remote therapeutics and diagnostics, and immersive VR/AR training.

The project commenced with a two-month Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase, enabling design development, value management and budget alignment prior to construction.

Delivered within a live medical and research environment, RCCI maintained uninterrupted access to lifts and shared circulation areas through careful staging and stakeholder coordination. Works included major HVAC upgrades, exposed ceiling treatments with acoustic enviro-spray finishes, specialist AV and room-booking technology, and a purpose-built robotics laboratory, alongside flexible event, workshop, meeting and collaboration spaces.
