The project delivers the strip out and refit of approximately 1,300 m² at the Ingham Institute Liverpool, located within the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct. The facility supports research in remote therapeutics and diagnostics, medical AI and surgical robotics, and VR/AR for teaching and training.
Works were delivered within a live medical and research environment, requiring uninterrupted access to lifts and shared Level 2 lobby areas, with close stakeholder coordination to minimise disruption.
The scope included a two-month Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) period to resolve design and budget controls, replacement of HVAC infrastructure with envirospray acoustic treatment, installation of interactive audiovisual and room booking systems, and delivery of a robotics laboratory.
A flexible mixed-use environment was created, incorporating breakout areas, meeting rooms, phone pods, workshop spaces, and an open-plan event area.
