F12 Dalton Cladding Replacement

At UNSW's Kensington Campus, RCCI have delivered the remediation and replacement of combustible ACP cladding on the F12 Dalton Building. The project formed part of UNSW's campus-wide fire safety compliance program and involved the careful removal of existing façade elements and the installation of a new non-combustible solid aluminium cladding system designed to meet current fire safety and building code requirements.

Works included façade investigations, design coordination, sub-framing modifications, installation of compliant aluminium panels, weatherproofing upgrades, quality assurance testing, certification and commissioning.

Delivered within a live university environment, RCCI implemented staged construction methodologies, pedestrian management controls and disruption minimisation measures to maintain ongoing campus operations while ensuring safe and efficient project delivery. The completed upgrade provides a compliant, durable façade solution that significantly improves building safety and long-term asset performance.
