Designed to enhance resident wellbeing through a contemporary, homelike environment, the Scalabrini Village Allambie Heights project combined a new residential care wing with significant upgrades to existing aged care facilities.
The works were delivered in two stages and included the fitout of new staff amenities, offices, a servery, café and utility areas, together with the creation of a new entry, reception, hairdresser, wellness centre and associated service spaces. A new single-level 14-bed residential wing was also constructed, incorporating resident bedrooms, treatment rooms and shared lounge facilities. External works included new in-ground services, stormwater infrastructure, pavements, fencing and extensive soft and hard landscaping.
Delivered within a live operational aged care environment, the project was carefully staged and coordinated to maintain resident comfort, safety and continuity of care throughout construction.
