The project delivers the fitout and expansion of 6 Hassall Street as part of Western Sydney University's (WSU) Western Growth Strategic Initiative. Phase 1 encompassed the fitout of the basement to Level 4, while Phase 2 extended the works to include the design, procurement, and delivery of Levels 5–7.
Design and construction principles from Phase 1 were applied to Phase 2 to foster collaboration, integrate technology, influence behaviour, and create a modern, engaging workplace.
Key features include enhanced visibility and connection, transparency with line of sight from the lift core, centralised informal learning and collaboration zones, and a vertical connecting stair serving as a wayfinding element. The project successfully met WSU's objectives, delivering a functional and inspiring environment on time and to budget.
