UNSW Kens Small Scale ACP Replacement involved the remediation and replacement of aluminium composite cladding across multiple occupied buildings within the UNSW Kensington campus, including F23, D23, F22, E19, J12 and K15. RCCI delivered the works under a D&C model, undertaking façade demolition, cladding replacement, structural modifications and associated fire and compliance upgrades.
The project required detailed planning and staging to maintain safe campus operations and minimise disruption to students, staff and university activities. Working collaboratively with UNSW stakeholders, consultants and specialist subcontractors, RCCI coordinated design development, stakeholder engagement and construction delivery within a live educational environment. Through proactive management, rigorous safety controls and a focus on quality, RCCI successfully enhanced building compliance, improved façade performance and supported UNSW's ongoing campus asset renewal programme.
