School of Nursing and Midwifery

RCCI delivered a major four-storey, multi-tenanted fit out for the University of Notre Dame, creating a contemporary education and training facility tailored to the needs of future healthcare professionals.

The project transformed the building into a highly functional learning environment incorporating four nursing simulation laboratories, a dedicated birthing simulation suite, 12 AV-enabled teaching spaces, collaborative study areas, and a range of informal breakout zones that support flexible learning and student engagement.

The works also included significant upgrades to the building's central plant, amenities, and essential services to enhance operational performance, reliability, and user comfort.

A key architectural feature of the redevelopment is the striking three-storey staircase linking the Ground Floor to Level 2 and improving connectivity throughout the facility.

Base building improvements further comprised re-roofing works, external façade enhancements, and the construction of a new bicycle storage facility.
