The project delivers the refurbishment of existing facilities and the construction of a new 16-bed aged care wing, providing modern, safe, and functional spaces for residents and the community.
Works included the construction on grade of a single-storey 18-bed residential aged care facility, alterations to the Community Building for reception, café, hairdresser, and outdoor children's play area, and modifications within the Services Building to accommodate a shop and workshop.
Additional works comprised extensive landscaping and irrigation, provision of extra on-grade parking bays, and connection of main services. All construction maintained clear separation from operating facilities, with a COVID-19 Risk Management Plan implemented throughout to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and contractors.
