Creating a vibrant hub for connection, learning and wellbeing, the Cardinal Gilroy Village Community Centre provides residents with contemporary facilities designed to support an active and engaged lifestyle.
The project comprised the design and construction of a new community centre, including demolition of existing structures and extensive earthworks to prepare the site for development.
The new facility incorporates fully fitted kitchens, a resident café, wellness and recreation spaces, integrated joinery, and flexible areas for educational and social programs. A 35kW roof-mounted solar system was designed, supplied, installed and commissioned to support sustainable operations. The works also included services infrastructure, stormwater systems, roadworks, car parking, landscaping and associated civil works.
Delivered within an operational retirement village, construction was carefully coordinated to minimise disruption to residents, staff and visitors while maintaining day-to-day village activities.
